“Karma is the eternal assertion of human freedom…our thoughts, our words, and deeds are the threads of the net which we throw around ourselves”.

Happy Thursday Facebookers and fellow blogsters!! So, I would have to say that it was a pretty good day today here in Greensboro….sunny and just a little too hot…dealing with runny-nosed children and shedding golden retrievers….random question: have you ever turned on the front burner of the stove, thinking it was the back one, and proceeded to go about your evening until 30 minutes later the smoke alarm starts blaring as a result of the smoke that is emanating from the now, extremely hot burner, because of the food particles that fell in the burner weeks ago? No? No one? Yea, me either…..

Now that that crisis is averted, I can get back to telling you good folks about KARMA…yep that good ol’ friend that comes back to either bless us or kick us in the a$$, depending on the circumstances. So, with that being said….

Day #3: Law of Karma

Now, what exactly is karma? (Just for the folks who may not know) Chopra defines karma as “an action and the consequence of that action; it is cause and effect simultaneously, because every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind”.

What goes around comes around………..yep, we all heard that infamous line at least some point of our lives….repetitive line, but oh so true. I have both experience and witness karma…been on her good side and bad side, and it were these moments in life that made me totally revamped my thoughts and actions. This was achieved by simply asking myself, “What are the consequences of the choices I’m making”? And from there if the consequences will not bring happiness to me or those around me, it is not the right choice for me.

Once you begin to ask yourself this, you will bring nothing but good energy not only to yourself, but everyone around you!

Keep this in mind ladies and gents…til next time….
